As Site Director Dr. Roxanne Henkin says, the San Antonio Writing Project “made the decision to go completely digital in 2007, which means that everything about our site became digital.”  With the help of Technology Liaison Dr. Lennie Irvin, the SAWP provides access to a digital library of articles on multiliteracies, multimodal digital literacies, English Language Learners, writing process and professional development.  Together, ISI participants read Create, Compose, Connect! Reading, Writing and Learning with Digital Tools by Jeremy Hyler and Troy Hicks, create their own digital stories each day, reflect on and store important resources on the Google site at least once a day, and integrate multimodal digital technologies into their best-practice demonstrations.
