A Memo of Understanding between Arkansas Delta WP and the Blytheville School District will bring the Invitational Summer Institute back to the ADWP service area.  The Blytheville school district, labeled “distressed” by the Arkansas Department of Education, will host and encourage teachers to participate in the three-week professional development workshop.  “After not having an ISI [in 2015], we are very excited at this possibility,” said site director said ADWP Site Director Dixie Keyes.

Delaware WP received Title 11 grant from Delaware Department of Education to provide professional development in Common Core State Standards:

Sam Houston Writing Project addresses low ISI enrollment--due to a service area of 53 school districts over 12,000 square miles and a fully online Master's program in Reading--by holding its ISI online for the first time, to great success.
